WHAT IS RENEWABLE ENERGY?
Any energy resource that is naturally regenerated over a short time scale and derived directly or indirectly from the sun or from other natural movements and mechanism of the environment.
Some of the fastest growing sources of renewable energy in the world are the wind, the sun and the wood pellet.
WHAT IS BIOMASS?
Any plant-derived organic matter. Biomass available for energy on a sustainable basis includes herbaceous and woody energy crops, agricultural food and feed crops, agricultural crop wastes and residues, wood wastes and residues, aquatic plants, and other waste materials including some municipal wastes.
WHAT DO WE DO?
Pelletasia is dedicated to providing sustainable and renewable energy with a minimal carbon foot print through a balanced approach of using existing biomass and planted energy crops while protecting the environment. We work with a variety of partners to establish and manage energy crop plantations using idle land and thereby contributing to the national greening programs without competing with food crops.READ MORE
